House Espresso
Dense, syrupy, cocoa-deep. The shot we tune every single morning.

Kastanienallee 12 · Berlin
We roast in small batches down the street, pull every shot by hand and bake the pastries you smell from the door. Come for the coffee — most people stay for the light, the quiet and the second cup.

Nothing on this list is new. It is simply made with more patience than it needs — and you can taste that in the first sip.

Dense, syrupy, cocoa-deep. The shot we tune every single morning.

Silky micro-foam poured over two ristretto shots. Our most ordered cup.

Steeped eighteen hours. Clean, sweet and impossibly smooth over ice.

Stone-ground Uji matcha, whisked to order with oat or whole milk.

Laminated at midnight, out of the oven at seven. Wait for the 7:05 tray.

Ground pistachio, orange blossom cream. Baked fresh three times a week.

Mara roasted coffee for a decade. Jonas baked bread at four in the morning. They met in a queue, complained about the same lukewarm cappuccino, and decided the neighbourhood deserved a room that felt like a deep breath.
LUMA opened in a former print workshop with tall windows and stubborn floorboards. We kept the light and added everything we love: a roaster running twice a week, organic milk from a family farm outside the city, and flour milled sixty kilometres away.
Nobody here will rush you. Your name gets remembered by the third visit, your order by the fifth. That is the whole philosophy.

“I came in for a takeaway and ended up staying three hours. The flat white is the best I've had outside Melbourne, and someone actually asked how my week was going.”

“Quiet enough to think, warm enough to feel welcome. The WiFi never drops and nobody hovers when your cup is empty. It has quietly become my second office.”

“The cardamom buns are dangerous. We booked the corner table for my birthday brunch and the team decorated it without us even asking. Genuinely lovely people.”
